Czech photographer, Michal Macku: Gallery and Technique (of 'gellage'). Pretty astonishing. Imagine an entire film made with this technique! (I have no idea if that would be possible in the first place.)

It's amazing indeed, and looks like needing a lot of work to accomplish. Actually most of the effects are probably done before exposition. The gellage is still pretty clever.
To make a film with this technique would be awesome (I wonder if it wasn't done before). The gellage is a frame-by-frame technique so it would be impossible, but a computer could mimic the rumple aspect artificialy.
A short animation maybe...
